About

About Me

I introduce myself as a devoted bird-watcher, nature and wildlife lover, adventure and travel enthusiast who loves to explore new cultures and places. I feel deeply inspired by the serenity and calmness of the Himalayas more than anything else.

I often wander to popular as well as offbeat travel-destinations. Although, India will always be the first choice but I would love to rove in the unknown and unheard of lands abroad. Currently, I divide my time between managing my professional life and roaming in the jungles. As a volunteer, I am also a member of a trust dedicated to conserve wildlife.

Why this weblog?

Sitting alone in a café on the Cart Road to Shimla and deliberating about the prospects of travel writing; bNomadic was born out of intent as well as interest. Here, I passionately present and share my travels in an unbiased visually researched format. Within about two years, bNomadic has become a part of my routine from just a hobby.

The intent of the reportage and analysis is to help the travel enthusiasts in planning their trip to the mentioned places and provide them with a sort of virtual tour. Apart from general heritage, geography, foods or activities, you would find a crazy amount of the Himalayas on this blog. I am particularly inclined towards motivating my readers to travel and experience more of the Himalayas than any other region in particular. I feel that the hidden valleys and remote corners of the Himalayas need a digital as well as visual expression for it to be made more accessible.

I believe in and follow the age-old wisdom of gathering knowledge and gaining experience by way of travelling. I look forward to the day when administrative boundaries or formalities for travellers would cease to exist.

bNomadic is the repertoire of my select travels and experiences I wish to share with people outside of my blood family. I hope to motivate you to make an effort to step out of your comfort zone and feel the nature, wildlife as well as the continually evolving cultures.

Move around. Be nomadic.
